Total assets of insurance companies amounted to 331.6 b.kr. at the end of January, having decreased by 15 b.kr. between months. Of total assets, assets of non-life insurance companies amounted to 310.3 b.kr. and assets of life-insurance companies amounted to 21.4 b.kr.

Domestic assets of the companies were in total 284.6 b.kr. and increased by 13.5 b.kr. between months. Foreign assets amounted to 47 b.kr. and increased by 1.5 b.kr.

Domestic liabilities increased by 12.2 b.kr. between months and amounted to 150.8 b.kr. of which share of insurance and pension entitlements amounted to 134.2 b.kr. or 89%

Equity amounted to 179.7 b.kr. or 54.1% of total liabilities and equity at the end of January.
