Interactive Hagvísar/Economic Indicators issued in Icelandic and English for the first time
Today the Central Bank of Iceland’s Hagvísar/Economic Indicators are being published in interactive format, in both Icelandic and English, for the first time. Publication of both versions in PDF format will be discontinued at the same time.
Economic Indicators provides a summary of economic developments, collections of economic indicators, and an overview of the state of the financial system.
Hagvísar, the Icelandic-language version, was first published in interactive format on the Bank’s website a year ago, marking a turning point in the Bank’s digital journey towards improved information disclosure. Today the Central Bank is taking the next step in this journey by adding the English version, Economic Indicators, to the Bank’s interactive offerings.
Data underlying the charts will remain accessible in Excel format, as in the past.
