Ásgeir Jónsson, Governor of the Central Bank of Iceland, participated in the Annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund 12-18 October, 2020. Like the Spring Meetings, the Annual Meetings were in virtual format this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Lesetja Kganyago, Governor of the South African Reserve Bank, chaired the meeting of the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) and Jan Tore Sanner, Finance Minister of Norway represented the Nordic-Baltic constituency in the IMFC on this occasion.
