Deputy Governor's introductory remarks at the 2nd Annual Nordic Cyber in Finance Conference

Deputy Governor Rannveig Sigurdardóttir participated in an annual Conference of the Nordic central banks - Cyber in Finance - hosted by the Central Bank of Finland in Helsinki on 29 November.

She participated in a panel discussion on financial sector and cyber threats in a changing landscape. The Deputy Governor discussed in her introductory remarks the new risks regarding the security of transactions and privacy and the growing need for cooperation between central banks, financial service providers, consumers, regulators and politicians.
