New interface for the publication of time series on the CBI website

For a number of years, the Central Bank has used a web interface developed by the company Datamarket for the publication of time series on the Bank’s website. The American company Qlik acquired Datamarket in 2014 and decided at the beginning of this year to discontinue using the Datamarket interface.

A new interface based on a solution from Microsoft has been under development. It is similar in many ways to the Datamarket interface, although it has been simplified somewhat.

Owing to difficulties arising late in the process, it will not be possible to launch the new interface immediately. Instead, Excel documents containing all time series have been prepared and will be used until the new interface can be activated.

Completion of the new interface is expected in the near future, and the Bank will begin using it as development allows.
