Publication and presentation of interest rate decision
Tomorrow, Wednesday 3 October 2012, the Monetary Policy Committee‘s interest rate decision will be published at 08:55. At 10:30, a webcast with a press conference begins where the rationale behind the decision will be explained.Már Guðmundsson, Governor of the Central Bank and Chairman of the Monetary Policy Committee, and Arnór Sighvatsson, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Iceland and member of the Monetary Policy Committee, will explain the rationale behind the interest rate decision.
