Spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund, 23-26 April 2010

A meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Monetary and Financial Committee was held on 24 April 2010. Már Guðmundsson, Governor of the Central Bank of Iceland and Iceland’s representative to the Board of Governors of the IMF, attended the meeting. The Nordic-Baltic Constituency’s representative to the IMF Monetary and Financial Committee was Bank of Finland Governor Erkki Liikanen. In connection with the spring meetings of the IMF Monetary and Finance Committee, a joint conference on the emerging framework for financial regulation and monetary policy was held by the Bank for International Settlements and the IMF.
