IMF Executive Board completes Article IV Consultation on Iceland

The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund completed its Article IV Consultation on the status and outlook for the Icelandic economy on Friday June 4. The IMF holds similar consultations with member countries every one to two years on the basis of Article IV of the Articles of Agreement of the IMF. An IMF mission conducted virtual meetings with the Icelandic authorities and various stakeholders in March and April.
