Total assets of insurance companies amounted to 329.5 b.kr. at the end of July. Of total assets, assets of non-life insurance companies amounted to 309.7 b.kr. and assets of life-insurance companies amounted to 19.8 b.kr.
Domestic assets of the companies were in total 263.1 b.kr. and foreign assets amounted to 66.4 b.kr.

Domestic liabilities amounted to 159.5 b.kr. of which share of insurance and pension entitlements amounted to 144.4 b.kr. Foreign liabilities amounted to 370 m.kr.

Equity of insurance companies amounted to 169.6 b.kr. at the end of July and decreased by 497 m.kr. between months.

Due to the implementation of IFRS 17 accounting standard in the settlement of insurance companies accounts, there is a break in the time series of unpaid premiums and unearned premiums in January 2023.
