Total assets of insurance companies amounted to 335.2 b.kr. at the end of June. Of total assets, assets of non-life insurance companies amounted to 315.4 b.kr. and assets of life-insurance companies amounted to 19.7 b.kr.
Domestic assets of the companies were in total 269.8 b.kr. and foreign assets amounted to 65.4 b.kr.

Domestic liabilities amounted to 164.7 b.kr. of which share of insurance and pension entitlements amounted to 149.1 b.kr. Foreign liabilities amounted to 396 m.kr.

Equity of insurance companies amounted to 170.1 b.kr. at the end of April and decreased by 10.4 b.kr. between months.

Due to the implementation of IFRS 17 accounting standard in the settlement of insurance companies accounts, there is a break in the time series of unpaid premiums and unearned premiums in January 2023.
