Total turnover on the interbank market for foreign exchange amounted 208.0 million Euros in January 2021, equivalent to 32.5 billion ISK. The CBI’s share of the monthly turnover in January was 14.6 billion ISK, but was 26.9 billion ISK in the month before.
The average Euro exchange rate vis-à-vis the Icelandic krona increased by 0.9% between December 2020 and January 2021.
