Assets of pension funds amounted to 5,712.9 b.kr. at the end of December, having increased by 75.9 b.kr from the previous month. Thereof assets of mandatory divisions amounted to 5,119 b.kr. and voluntary divisions to 593.9 b.kr.
Domestic assets of pension funds amounted to 3,787.5 b.kr. Thereof deposits in deposit taking corporations amounted to 164.8 b.kr. and domestic loans amounted to 515.6 b.kr. Domestic marketable securities amounted to 2,102.9 b.kr. and equities and investment fund shares amounted to 868.6 b.kr.
Foreign assets of pension funds amounted to 1,925.4 b.kr. at the end of December. Thereof 1.865 b.kr. were in equities and investment fund shares, 34.2 b.kr in deposits and 8.5 b.kr in marketable bonds. Other liabilities amounted to 6.3 b.kr. leaving net assets at 5,706.6 b.kr.
