Corrections with reference to comments on a TV program
With reference to the comments made on the CNBc program this afternoon, The Central Bank of Iceland would like to underline the following;
1. The Republic of Iceland has virtually no foreign debt on a net basis.
2. The Fundamental principle of the government's policy has always been to preserve the good credit standing of the Republic of Iceland.
3. The government's actions today and in the days ahead will secure this solid credit standing.
