Summary of the concluding statement of the IMF
An IMF mission visited Iceland for consultations with representatives of the authorities from June 2 to 13, 2005. At the mission’s final meeting today, its chairman presented a summary of the mission’s forthcoming concluding statement on its talks and consultations in Iceland. The concluding statement will be published in its entirety on the IMF and Central Bank of Iceland websites within the next few days. IMF missions conduct annual consultations with all the Fund’s 184 members.
