Current trends and prospects of the Icelandic economy in a global setting
Mr. Birgir Ísleifur Gunnarsson, Governor and Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Iceland gave a speech at the "Wirtschaftstag Island" in Berlin April 30, 2003. In the speech the Governor concluded by describing the increasing diversity of the Icelandic economy and said that the liberalization and opening up of the Icelandic economy demanded close cooperation with other nations.
