The Economy of Iceland 2002 published

The Central Bank of Iceland has for several years published in English The Economy of Iceland. It describes the main characteristics of the Icelandic economy and society. In the 2002 issue there are chapters on the recent developments and prospects in the Icelandic economy, on country and people, on twentieth century economic developments, on the structure of the economy, the financial system, the public sector, monetary policy and foreign debt. Finally, there is a statistical appendix. This publication is 68 pages and is accessible on the web-site of the Central Bank of Iceland.
